Manthan Systems announces ARC Certification of Multiple Data Platforms

Manthan Systems has announced certification of data platforms on ARC Business Intelligence (BI) Platform Version 6.4, made generally available last month. Manthan Systems’ offerings span business intelligence and retail analytics capabilities, including merchandising, marketing and operations analytics and more, allowing retailers to deploy ARC technologies to access business insights throughout the enterprise.

As data sets increase in volume, storage and processing of structured and unstructured data can become problematic for retailers. ARC products leveraging these newly certified platforms will help retail customers support larger data sets and achieve unprecedented speeds to access and query complex data to overcome Big Data issues, such as managing the increasing velocity of information and growing diversity of source data combined with expanding data sets.

Many of our customers are already using best-in-class solutions for data storage. It is our objective to provide our customers a number of pre-certified platform options to support robust, high-performance analytics. This way, our customers can leverage existing technology investments or choose the right solution for their unique business requirements, said Atul Batra, CTO, Manthan Systems.

The data platforms which have been recently certified on ARC BI Platform Version 6.4 are EMC Greenplum v4.2, H, Vertica v6, IBM Netezza v7.0 and Kognitio v7.2.1-3. These certifications are in addition to Manthan’s existing support of traditional database platforms from Oracle, Microsoft and IBM.
