Polaris Group launches 8012 Design Talks

The Polaris Group, under the aegis of the Chief Design Officer’s Office (CDOO) has launched its first-ever ‘8012 Design Talks’ - a series of monthly interactive sessions and demonstrations with leading innovators who apply Design Thinking in their respective fields to effect formidable change. The inaugural session took place earlier today at the Polaris 8012FT Design Center by Dr. Jayanti Ravi, IAS, Commissioner - Higher Education, Government of Gujarat who spoke on "The Power of Design Thinking” with reference to her recently launched book ‘Silver Lining’. Demystifying pre-conceived notions of Design Thinking being restricted to corporate organizations, Dr. Jayanti highlighted the application and the power of integrated design to solve everyday problems, enabling human and societal upliftment. Rajesh Kuppuswamy, Chief Design Officer, Intellect Design Arena Limited said, “We at Intellect have always believed in Design Thinking, enabling us think innovatively in developing state-of-the-art technology relevant to our customers. The series will have speakers from various walks of life speaking on how they have understood industry requirements, observed and clustered patterns, connecting dots and unearthing blind spots.
