Cybersecurity industry veteran Krishnan V V has joined Check Point Software Technologies as Managing Director – India and South Asia, bringing extensive experience in business management, industry development and partner-led enterprise sales.
Krishnan joins Check Point after a significant tenure at Palo Alto Networks, where he most recently served as Country Director – BFSI. He originally joined Palo Alto Networks as Regional Sales Director – West, bringing more than 27 years of technology-industry experience at that time.
His career spans leadership roles across technology companies including Symantec, Sun Microsystems, Oracle and Wipro. He has built experience across business management, industry development, products and services, with a strong record of managing revenue, profitability and other key business metrics.
Krishnan also brings deep understanding of customer requirements across banking and financial services, IT/ITES, manufacturing, retail and media. His BFSI experience is particularly relevant as financial institutions confront rapidly evolving cyber threats and increasingly AI-driven attacks.
Another important strength is his experience in building partner ecosystems and high-performing teams. Earlier leadership descriptions highlight his ability to develop C-level strategies, strengthen channel relationships and drive business growth.
At Check Point, Krishnan will enter the role as enterprises accelerate adoption of AI, cloud, Zero Trust and consolidated cybersecurity platforms. The India and South Asia market presents significant opportunities as organizations modernize security architectures while managing growing complexity.
His appointment therefore brings together enterprise leadership, cybersecurity experience, BFSI expertise and partner-led growth, positioning him to drive Check Point’s next phase of business and ecosystem expansion across India and South Asia.
